Fresh, fruity wine with tones of white fruit like apple, banana and vanilla aroma. A tropical character both in scent and taste. The finish is well structured with a beautiful length.

Handpicked harvest, supreme ripeness, after which transported in steel vessels to the winery. Here the peel soaking takes place seven days long at a low temperature. This gives more aromas, colour and taste to the wine. The vinification follows, after vinification the juice is separated from the seeds and peels, after which the juice is poured in to an American oak barrel.

Bodega La Rural was established in 1855 by Don Felipe Rutini. Rutini planted his first vines in Maipu, Mendoza. The new winery was supplied with the best French oaken barrels he could find. In 1925 the Rutini’s dared to plant vines in areas on an altitude of 4.600 feet, where mostly the cold nights delivered wine of a unprecedented concentration.
The bodega still excels in using the newest technology, RVS cuves, pneumatic presses, high-tech bruisers, vacuum pumps and filtration systems. And of course by the regular acquisition of French oak barrels.
